If u've never watched a Lynch movie, don't even try to watch this, it's hands down David's most massive mindfuck work along with Eraserhead, and it also lasts three hours i think, very disturbing and confusing but an undeniably immense cinematic masterpiece. That's just me (:

it's just so irritating that people watch Lynch movies, don't get them and denigrate them, first of all, it's impossible to judge smthg u dn't understand, second of all, u people have thousands of mainstream movies that u can easily get & like, why do u even watch Lynch's work knowing that it takes effort, patience and several viewings to be understood, just stay away from his films, calling Lynch mediocre is not gonna help u get his work, the guy is fundamentally brilliant so just get over it !

When I first saw ''Inland Empire'', I hated it. Now, it's probably one of my favourite movies of all time.

Watching a David Lynch movie is like having an intense nightmare, the kind where you wake up with your heart beating and your body sweating. Trying to understand one is like trying to remember the dream. It's like saying you went to heaven and came back after taking a few hits of LSD, when it was only an illusion. He fools you, and he's brilliant.

Just watched "More things that happened" Lynch's other companion piece to this. Maybe just because of the running time, but I actually liked it a lot more than "inland empire"

Elephant Man is the most "mainstream" of David's movies. If you haven't seen any of his films, that's a mild one to start with.
