But again the point is here, Patton clearly didn't do it for the 'greater good', he did it just to be an attention seeker while out with his mates, and for the cameras. Which is why it is such a lame act.

As far as I'm aware having an open container is only illegal in certain states, whereas littering is illegal in all states. And who appointed Patton as vigilante? That's exactly how mistakes happen and innocent people get targeted. Many people sit with a child after having a drink or come home from a bar and take their kids to the park / shopping / game etc, why is this any different?

@jakethegimp2 I think that's an extreme comparison. I do agree that he shouldn't have littered like that and just left it, but, first off, you aren't supposed to have ANY opened containers in a vehicle in the first place. The fact that her voice was all hoarse, man-like and aggressive didn't make it any better (let alone her threats) and the fact that a kid is exposed is what pisses me off. Had it not been for the kid, I probably wouldn't even give a shit. They'll suffer consequences regardless.

Presumably if somone had come along and said to Patton, here you fucker take your can and put it in the bin and shoved it down his top, you'd also support them. Because it's no different. Patton didnt' do this for anyone's good. He did it for attention, hence why he smashed the can on the floor, and didn't put it in the bin. Which is why he's a hypocritical attention seeker.
