I'm using osmosis water in my cell.

Meyer actually used a CD4046 phase locked loop IC to maintain resonance, against changing cell conditions. Nothing is going to change the fact that tap water shorts out the capacitor plates, stopping any chance of resonance and Hi Q. Maybe he varnished one set of capacitor tubes to insulate them ?. You would not see the varnish in the water .

@ 8:00 you need to insert the Kicker rectangle wave oscillator. Even though you assume the system should self-resonate, keep in mind that a real circuit will still need a slap or kick of impulse voltage every now and then in order to keep the system in the oscillating regime. Don't try to attain the ideal system; that won't happen. You MUST have the Kicker or Slapper, or whatever you want to call that which injects the impulse to defibrillate the oscillator system.

Hey, ZeroFF... you can save a large amount of trial-n-error tweaking the system by simulating the circuit, which includes the variable capacitor which is the electrical action of the fuel cell, by using PSpice circuit simulator software.

I hear there are freebie/shareware circuit simulator SW out there.

good explantion! my idea exactly, instead of phase i was going to monitor cell current at resonance, and use that to control the oscilator. Very informative explantion of the whole process. I wish you luck with making a working design, please make it open source!! beat the oil industries!
