an acoustic, piano and vocal version of the title track from the album 'NORTH' that elvis explains doesn't actually appear on the record. just a bit of talking to camera and some playing and singing. one of the coolest things i've ever seen. i hope someone out there sees it and enjoys it. take care

As far as I can see he is playing it quite well for a chap who can't play piano. And he openly says he can't. and if you don't like him hows about you don't look at his stuff?!

This is my favorite elvis costello song of recent years. It has a faraway, sad quality. When close to my mortal end, I hope I have the strength to make it far enough north, to see the Northern Lights, to hear the howl of wolves and to play this song as I tromp through deep snow into my unknown "North."
