CDD SONG IN ENGLISH

Film-maker, Nik Wood's film of Burkina Faso singing star, Amity Méria singing a song in English that she has written to celebrate the hundreds of thousands of community distributors, in her own country and throughout sub-Saharan Africa, who have given out drugs to prevent River Blindness. Their work, spanning more than 10 years, has helped to virtually eradicate the disease and the community-led approach is now to be used to fight against other disease such as malaria and HIV AIDS.
