Kingdom Hearts II - The Pride Lands 1 Part 3

Sora, Nala, Donald and Goofy continue to the outlands and into the jungle. When they reach an oasis, Sora, Donald and Goofy see Simba surrounded by Heartless, but a massive roar scares them away. Sora calls out to Simba, and starts to approach him. Simba readies for attack, but Sora explains that it's him, Donald and Goofy. Simba looks at them, and the memory of them as he had first seen them comes in, and Simba recognizes them. He happily leaps onto Sora, asking what happened. Then he hears Timon and Pumbaa scream in the jungle, and he hurries to help them. Sora and the rest follow behind him.

Timon and Pumbaa find themselves cornered by Nala when Simba leaps on her and starts to fight with her. Sora and Donald cry out for him to stop, but Simba doesn't recognize it's Nala until she flips him over, like how she did when they were little. Then she backs off, and the two recognize each other, and reunite happily. Timon asks what's going on, then turns to see Sora and they run off. Simba tells them to relax, as they're all friends of his. Everyone laughs about it, then Simba asks Timon and Pumbaa if he and Nala can be alone for a little while.

Nala asks Simba to return to Pride Rock. She says that he is the only one that can save everyone, but Simba says he can't go back. He tells about Hakuna Matata and when bad things happen, you can't do anything. Nala looks at him in disbelief. Timon, Sora and everyone else come in, singing about Hakuna Matata, but see Nala walk off, saying that Simba isn't the Simba she remembers. When Sora, Donald and Goofy try to cheer Simba up, he walks off as well.

Simba still thinks about his father's death and how he is responsible. He feels that he cannot do anything if he was to go back. He remembers the night that he and Mufasa spent together and how Mufasa explained how all the kings of the past live in the stars. When Simba calls out to father, the sky changes and Mufasa's vision appears to Simba. He tells that he must take his place in the Circle of Life. Simba doesn't know how he can go back, and his father tells him to remember who he really is. The vision fades away, and Simba knows everyone is behind him and says they can come out. He realizes what he must do, as he must face his past now, and asks Sora for some help. Timon realizes he really is a king, and Sora is granted the Circle of Life Keyblade (Attack 4, Magic 1, MP Haste). (Who thinks this is one of my favorite Keyblades?)

Is that actually Matthew Broadrick doing the voice of Simba? It's hard to tell sometimes. I can barely tell if Timon is Nathan Lane...

He is in the actual movie, but not in the game. In game, he's voiced by Cameron Clarke, who provided his singing voice in Lion King 2.
