@cheeselyman No, you can use any kind of rope or straps that you want to, but the slap straps are great to take along and extremely easy to use without having to tie any knots.
-
@TheWinterfox10 The hammock alone does not, but ENO does offer a couple package setups that include tarps and bug nets...or you can buy them separately depending on which you want to get.
-
does this hammock come with a tarp or bug net?
-
do you have to have slap straps

owned one for five years. No sticks in the back, no cold from ground coming up to get you. Colorado, michigan, summer, winter, multiple nights, I like it. Personal preference: I like it bunches.

@settingsonssc It's all about personal preference. If you dont like to sleep in one, that's fine. We talk to hundreds of happy customers every year that love them, think they are the most comfortable thing in the world, customers who haven't slept in a tent for 20+ years because they've been using hammocks, and the list keeps going on. We've even come across people who have thru hiked the Appalachian Trail with just the hammock and tarp as their shelter.

sleeping in a hammock breaks your back, they are shite, by the time you carry a tarp, cold sheet bag, bivvi hammock, just pack a one man tent its smaller quicker easier. this is a gimmick that sucks, no way is this guy going to sleep in this then back pack 25 miles next day, ignore this rubbish, i been doing this 40 years now, trust me on this one,

@baseballguy0900 sounds pretty sweet but i only put mine as high up as im willing to fall.
Rope breaks and so do trees it just happens.

i find it much easier to roll starting at one biner up to the stuff sack then rolling up the other...it makes deployment much faster and tidy.
Cool video...I have this setup...works great!
