  • @Thunderchicken1997 i would, but i dont undertand radios whatsoever, i really want to, but even tutorials make my head spin. i just got a police scanner, and even that thing confuses the hell out of me. im 17 so ive got some time to learn tho.

    You should try to get your license. Go to ARRL.org and check it out. If you have just a hint of experience of radio experience, this site will guide you to the proper study guides to pass your test. It's a FUN hobby!

  • I've had 2 contacts with the ISS. One was from m ycar on a Yaesu 1500 and 1 from my home on a Yaesu 8900 on a dual band Cushcraft. It's really fun!
