So it's cool to use some words that are hurtful to a certain group of people, but not other words that do so? Nigger and faggot are both words used to make people feel like second-class citizens. Does Ann actually understand why "faggot" is used as a school yard taunt and insult? Because being called gay is understood as an insult. The political-correctness is in place there to chastise those who are insensitive to the emotional baggage of certain words.
