@viletree Maybe Professor Cohen didn't explain it well enough here, but from taking his courses and working with him, corporate=conservative. They fairly tackless about their pro-revenue agenda I think and no, actually, as a rule of thumb, I really don't like seek out watching those commentators...I think fairly high on themselves. I watch the DAILY SHOW always and will watch segments from time to time.

@doriankilledsibyl Do you not watch the commentators, perspectives, and just general nuances from folks like Olbermann, Maddow, and Matthews? All of them are self-prescribed liberal, and the fact the network covers democratic congressmen's legislative ideas, speeches, or thoughts especially with regards to the senate. I'm not demonizing the network, I'm just asking why this guy is calling them Conservative.

@viletree how are they left leaning? certainly not as much as CNN - do you have any evidence to show how they are leftist? I always hear people debating MSNBC's station on the political spectrum and but they just put it out there as fact: "no fox, so, thus, left." Hmm...

@jemmre In 2006, media bias was of major concern...a war was going on that networks were not covering. And admittedly, I was a student of Jeff's, and he's no fool - it's important for communications students (as well as others) to know about this! His book is really fascinating actually, just goofy and often sad anecdotes.

How is MSNBC exactly "conservative" Cohen? Obviously, this clip is a little old, but MSNBC is a bit more left leaning than the other networks, still they are however, a corporate media network.
