Must've Been the Way You Kissed Me [A Jaylor One-Shot]

wrote this for all of you :)

"Mmm life is so perfect," I said, grinning as my girlfriend pulled away from the sweetest kiss I'd ever received.
She giggled and hit my shoulder playfully. "Oh stop it, you're such a sucker."
"For you," I said, moving my eyebrows up and down teasingly.
"Joe!" she yelled, falling back against the cool sand, starting to laugh.
"Ahhhh don't ever stop," I murmured, turning to lean over on top of her and look into her clear blue eyes.
"Don't stop what?" she asked, her laugh fading as she looked up at me, confused.
"Laughing!" I said, chuckling at her expense.
"Ohhh," she replied, seeming to be deep in thought. "Sorry," she giggled.
I reached over and tickled her. "Nobody knows my tickle spot," she told me, rolling her eyes as not even a smile appeared on her face.
"But I'm your boyfriend. Of course I know your tickle spot, Taylor," I said, running my hand along her ribs. She burst out laughing and I laughed along with her until I pressed my lips gently against hers.
"And that," I added, when I pulled back, "is the only way you can stop."
The smile she gave me made me feel like my heart was exploding, I was so happy. "C'mon," I said, taking her by the hand and pulling her up along with me so fast that she bumped a little into me, her arms finding their way around my neck. "Let's take a run in the water okay?"
Taylor nodded and I started to reach for her hand when she took off on me, barefoot and laughing.
"Taylor!" I yelled, kicking off my shoes too and starting to run after her.
"If you love me, you have to catch me!" she yelled behind her shoulder, her blonde curls flying behind her.
"Dangit, I guess you have to catch her then?" I said to myself, feeling the wind whip through my hair as I closed the space between us, reaching out just as she was about to get away and wrapping my arms around her waist.
Taylor screamed happily, turning around to face me. We stood in the shallow water for a while, just catching our breath.
"See," I caught you. "I do love you," I told her. She smiled.
"Thank God you did, huh? I wouldn't want a boyfriend who didn't love me!" she giggled.
"Oh geez," I said, running my hand through my hair. "I adore you babe," I kissed her forehead and she closed her eyes, smiling as my lips grazed her hair.
She slipped her arms around my neck again, sighing happily.
"I like this," I said, taking my hand away from her waist for a second to gesture to us, standing in the cool water coming in and out against our feet.
"Mmm," Taylor said, opening her eyes to look at me. "My feet are cold."
I started laughing, I felt like I couldn't stop. Taylor looked at me with an amused expression on her face, as if she didn't quite know what to say.
"What? They're freezing," she told me matter-of-factly.
"Okay," I said, picking her up bridal-style as she kissed my nose.
"Don't worry," I told her. "I got you."
