The reason I'm getting it from Amazon is because I use Amazon Prime with my old college email, and I get free 2 day shipping or 1 day shipping for 3.99 per item. I'll keep anyone posted, and I might post a video on my Youtube channel once I get it, and I'll explain it better to everyone!
I'm so getting this on friday from Amazon! Friggin Netflix doesn't work on my PowerPC Mac Mini, and me and my gf share an account. I'm using my HDTV as a monitor on my Mac...Should I get the HD Roku and hook it up to my Monitor, or the SD and use that on my Old Samsung TV? I'm thinking HD...
You MUST move the player from TV to TV every time you want to switch rooms. I have a Bluray player that doesn't hook up to the internet, but I love it. The video is great and the audio is amazing. I have heard the "HD" on Roku players is more like an upscaled DVD. The blurays are true HD. So personally I would recommend the Bluray player with a Wifi connection. Same thing, but then you have the choice to watch actual Bluray Discs as well. Since MY Blu isn't Wifi capable, I will be buying a Roku,

I can stream Netflix on my PC which is hooked up to my 47" inch LCD tv.
The overall quality is very good to excellent. I'm also able to stream many HD titles.
Is there any benefit to using the Roku box as opposed to my PC??
