Here, at long last, is my trock song, complete with terrible lip-syncing video. It's an epic, 5-minute song that I wrote in May (in my excitement for the Chameleon Circuit album if I recall). It covers the episodes "Utopia", "The Sound of Drums" and "Last of the Time Lords" from the point of view of The Master - who, if you haven't seen the show, is totally evil and crazy, driven mad by a constant drumming in his mind (the rhythm is emulated in-between the chorus and verses).
The video and audio go out of sync a little more often than I'd like, but that's why no professional video-creator uses Windows Movie Maker... And I think we can all agree that I shouldn't go into the acting business.
I'm going away tomorrow for a week's holiday, but I'll do my best to reply to any comments before I go to bed this evening. If I don't speak to you before then, have a great week!
The lyrics are as follows:
The end of reality things are tough
The pain and the darkness are coming
The work of one man is not nearly enough
Got to get this last hope and running
My name is Yana and Im a professor
Its only an honorary title
Call me a genius, but I do not care
Its finding Utopia thats vital
My history is funny they said they found me with this watch
Its broken and rusty, but always Ive clung to this watch
The drumming is calling, getting louder and louder
Just open me, open me, open me...
If you are the Doctor then I am the Master of everything
All is beneath me
Unstoppable and mighty, controlling the Toclafane
Im not the monster here
Today its the Earth but tomorrow the Universe
When everything collapses to dust
So why arent you smiling you should be:
You are not alone.
Back to the present - you travelled with speed
And only to find that Im here
First Contact with aliens televised to all
Watch the planets hope turn into fear
Sending my children to decimate
Kill one tenth of the worlds population
Age the doctor to 900 years
No chance of the planets salvation
Yet over and over, I constantly hear those drums
The worlds at my feet but I still hear the beat of the drums
Louder and louder and faster and faster
Its killing me, killing me, killing me, killing me
If you are the Doctor then I am the Master of everything
All is beneath me
Unstoppable and mighty, controlling the Toclafane
Im not the monster here
Today its the Earth but tomorrow the Universe
When everything collapses to dust
So why arent you smiling you should be:
You are not alone.
Whats happening? Whats going wrong?
This cannot be I can hear his song
The Doctor rises and calls my name
So I cower in fear and I cry in shame
The worlds gone back to its normal state
And silently I hear my fate
But she draws a gun and she fires
Shes killing me, killing me, killing me...
You may be the Doctor but youre also the Master of my lonely demise
The drumming its slowed to a funeral parade and I see the fear in your eyes
Its only a bullet you plead, regenerate! Cant you see that I refuse?
After all thats been done, I still win:
You are alone
You are alone.

The song is amazing, but I'm not going to lie, the video is a little weird. I
