Green Park (Original Song)

A song I wrote while walking in Green Park in London about three years ago. For those who don't know, Green Park is near Buckingham Palace and lots of very wealthy people live around it, while poor people scrabble to survive withing the park, begging and stuff. tried to write a socially-conscious lyric here.

They come for many reasons,

In the flash of jealous cameras,
Smell the envy mixed with hate.

Rags hide frozen bones,
A winter without shelter,
They scrabble in the cold.

I see it all, as I'm walking through Green Park.

And the opposites, the opposites
The opposites attract (repeat)

A line is drawn between us,
The standards have been raised?
And the field has been chosen,
The struggle escalates...

And I see the end,
I see the end, as I'm leaving Green Park.
