You've got some chops! Call Sean Wang for lessons, he is still in town these next two weeks. I can give you his number. I think he's the most concise violin teacher I've ever had. I've accomplished so much in just one year.

thanks a lot. im really trying to nail a "break the sword of justice" and an "i talk to the rain" tone. both are by yuki kajiura and she is definately my favorite classical artist right now. thanks for the help :)

hey! sorry for the late reply, I haven't forgotten about lesson videos! I will get them soon!

If you have the amp already, a pickup is like $9. It's cheap so go ahead and try it out! If you don't have a violin, a cheap one will be fine if you are using a amp.

I think I'll start adding a few pedals here and there sometime soon haha. Thanks for the compliment!
what did you use to hook the amp to the violin. cord and tiny mic or what on to the bridge I've tried amplifying my violin since I play with elec. guitars drums and louder insruments than mine

I used a tuner pick up, the ones you used to plug in a tuner. It's about $9, versus the mics that are about $100. It's got a cord, and that usually a hassle

question... is there a difference between a violin and a fiddle???

It's style, it's like saying rock and blue and jazz. You could use the same guitar to play all three styles.
