Obama bails out Unions - I do not think he cares about GM. Obama's protectionist policy - "buy only American" is Union influence. Unions is why Americans do not buy domestic cars - they are built like sh*t! Making Americans buy American is a communist mentality. Americans should engineer a superior product and the consumer will buy - but Unions make this impossible!

gm is full of shit they build cars so poorley that when something simple breaks, they have to take everything apart to get to it.

i remember one time as a child, on my uncles car from the 50's or 60's they had to take off the front tire JUST to change the battery.

GM fails at manufacturing, employing, marketing, in fact everything else.

First of all, American cars get "abused" day in and day out. People who drive American cars do not change the oil. They leave it dirty and abandoned. Air filters look like the Lung of a Dying Smoker.

I find it odd that everybody seems to criticize the US automakers even if it is the US government that has created the problems along with the unions. Add to that all the US left wing media that tells the lie of imports having better quality. It is amazing that GM has survived this far in this environment. Unless the marxists are voted out of the white house soon we will all be in trouble...in far more trouble than GM is in now.
