  • I know 4 chords and I could fart a better cover.

  • Name-calling? Sad.

  • She's kinda funked up, but the band covers her! I like it!

  • @ninilbilly Better check the writing credit on the song, which you can do very easily by just looking at the albums (or look it up on the net)...it's Jagger/Richards, not T. Van Zandt, (even on the first TVZ album the song appeared on, "Roadsongs"...in 1993). The Stones recorded it in December of 1969, and it first appeared on "Sticky Fingers", released in '71. Townes, though he does a great version of it, didn't write this one.

  • @donfh3 You don't know squat. This was written by TVZ. And the stones played it with a very country feel. This song is what is know as "alternative country" As per keith Richards own comments about this song. When performing a COVER as the stones and others do, you can give it any feel you want, reggie, rock, classical. But the song IS country. Saw TVZ perform this song long ago, nobody does it better. ASS HOLE!

  • fun thats the name of the game

  • @VoodooPolitico Who the hell are you calling kid? I know who wrote the song, and that the reviews of it (as far as it being "country" music) were lousy. I liked her version and many others. I was responding to someone's comment about this version being country music and how country music should be. The song IS not country music, it IS rock and roll. So...take your comment...and your opinion...and stick them up your fucking ass!
