@rockoumy619 The orientation is just a way to help get you into the school. They do things such as provide tours of the campus along with lots of other important info. But I think the most important thing about is that there's a lot of social events, and EVERYONE wants to make friends. So really, it's just to meet a ton of new people that might eventually become your best friends in college. :)
