@Jaesango well i have been listining to loud bass for 5 years and i still have perfect hearing i have had it checked but ya im shure that one day it will have some sort of effect, but i dont plan to live forever so it dont bother me to much. there is alot of other stuff that will make you go def way faster then loud bass.

my uncle is 42 years old an drives semi truck and his ears never stop ringing cuz of it but he is not going to quit just because he is worryed about his hearing

I don't think people are getting the point...if you go deaf after listening to it like that after a year then it is called SERIOUS damage...

I'm talking about the cumulative effect. Yes, it won't have adverse affects right away, but think of it in 5, 10 or even 15 years. You'll definitely have hearing loss if you expose yourself to that kind of bass in your car. It's fine if you don't want to admit it...ignorance is bliss.

@Jaesango it can make you go def but it takes alot of bass over a very long period of time to make you def subthumper2000 is right the higher frequencys do the most damage if you look it up its like between 2k and 4k hz that really do damage if you dont belive me check it out for your self

my setup hits 144db @ 40hz i listen to it every day i can play rap all day long and be just fine. but if i listen to rock and the highs will make my ears ring after about 10 min.
