The reason it has a RESET button on the display is so when your alarm goes off you can turn it off if it's bothering you. As for the "controlling all fans at once" mode you are right, it can on the last fan mode selection.

Many people have had problems with this fan controller!
They say it adds another sound to the fans, instead of recucing the sound.
I'm going for the Aerocool Touch-1000 (or 2000) just to be sure.

@Zillamp3z Yeah but some people experience humming or buzzing for some reason. The really good one is the NZXT LXE which takes up 2 bays but eliminates the buzzing for the people that did have the buzzing.
