@LCT29 Yeah, but he would probably have a way to get out of the quarantine -or a military contact. (He can get food and water). Money would still be good outside of the crisis area.

Paper money? He's traded what is probably the most necessary thing a private citizen needs for paper money??

Also, once you go outside if you come back in you're bringing cantaminated dust into your home. Leave your clothes totally outside! Wash off if you can too before you come in.
ps- Interesting comment about the police abandoning their posts. Not to disparage law enforcement but I think that would be a very likely scenario. :-(
