The lion, already down as much as 85 percent in numbers from just 20 years ago, is now in danger of becoming extinct because people are poisoning them with a pesticide to protect their cattle.

farmers kill lions bec of "lions have haunted humans and herd" but stupid fat tourists come to kenya to kill lions for "sport"

Let's just put this another way. Instead of organizing hunting parties for the rich, let`s protect the animals from fun killing! Why should I, as a farmer, stop killing lions when trying to defend my livestock, while the government is permiting all hunting forms for sports? Why does not the government help the poor defend their farms from beats? People try to survive and have the right to defend themselves. Instead of criticizing the farmers, let's take a look at the government actions first!

I hate animals, in the perfect world man will rule and all of HIS creatures will become his food and clothes. You tree huggers need to worry about real issues like gun laws. And the bible and god. I hate the enviironment and all you tree huggers should get a life. Pollution isn't as bad as communism.

hey those poor african farmers need to survive, so that they can continue to populate their fragile environment and contribute to the world. YEAH RIGHT... i wish the UN would grow some balls and strip sub saharan africa of its nationhood and WIPE OUT every human. it's a hell hole full of superstition, rape, genocidal fucks, disease, mutilations and destruction of the earth. there's no hope for the continent, it'd be a HUGE burden for every other nation to develop them. fucking savages.

This is just so fucking sad. But it's certainly not surprising -- in our indulgent pursuit of comfort, man destroys the world that made us. If there's a god -- which I doubt there is, sadly -- humans will get a disease that wipes us off the face of this planet for good.
