Lesson 4: Playing dead

It's time for our fourth Training Academy video. In this episode, expert trainer Gwen Bailey teaches Snowy to play dead. (And doesn't Snowy do well?!)

Teaching tricks is a great way to use some of your dog's mental energy and it strengthens the bond you have with your dog. This lesson is more advanced than some of the previous videos, so it will take lots of practice for you both to get the hang of it. But with a bit of patience, we're sure you'll be top of the Training Academy class.

Please note: Although these videos are only a few minutes long, the filming for each took several hours. Training a dog is not quick to do and requires a lot of patience, practice and experimentation to achieve the best results.
