Though Volvo's heart and soul will always be the station wagon (of which they still make the best ones), I have to say with the XC90, the nailed the "family" SUV as well, from inception.

They may be owned by a Chinese company but they will still be Volvo, while Ford had them they still made Volvo's, Ford got some tech, Volvo got some money, it's the same as Jag being owned by India or Lamborghini being owned by Germany, Volvo will be Swedish, Jaguar will be British, and Lambo will be Italian, not like it couldn't go the other way, it's just not likely. They are all big names and messing with them is just bad business
