Thomas, Roderick 601-961-5214 OPC/Envir. Compliance & Enforcement. Mining & Solid Waste Management. Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ). This audio tape was made on January 27, 2011. The day after I was denied by the Lafayette County Administrator (Mr. Johnson) the right to sign up and speak publicly before the Lafayette County Commissioners at their next meeting in February. This audio tape directly contradicts Ethan Mayeu's taped comments currently posted on this You-Tube page and on our website www.oxfordmsasbestos.com. On the other tape, Ethan Mayeu states that the "MDEQ does not know what's out at the site" and that the "MDEQ has no intentions of doing any testing of the site". I pointed out directly every contaminated area at the Asbestos site to field investigator Thomas on this day. I observed him fill out his report. This report was directly filed to his supervisor, and the individual responsible for clean-up of this site, ETHAN MAYEU. THIS IS A COVER-UP! If you live in or have recently visited Oxford, MS, home of Ole Miss University, they don't want you to know that YOU MAY HAVE ALREADY BEEN EXPOSED!
