I created www.Tenerife-Training.net to show people this unique spanish island... I now hire pro road & MTB bikes for a living.

I also organise guided cycle training + MTB tours of Tenerife in the Canary Islands, Spain.

Some people here said it can't be done... so I thought I'd give it my best shot. Even now they still tell me the same...

BIKE HIRE TENERIFE!

My other project is to make the best quality cable housing the bike world has ever seen. Check it out: www.vertebr.ae

  • The Place is Gran Canaria in canary islands 365 days sunny.

  • Err, no, it's Tenerife.

  • Anyone know the name of the "strap design" water bottle cage on this bike?

  • They are made by b-t-p. Google "b-t-p de"

  • I just got back from there on vacation. I saw only one cyclist on the Teide. I would imagine it's quite dangerous as most automobilists don't seem to be conditioned to share the roads with bikes (at least from what I saw). Great video!

  • Actually 99.9% of car drivers are very polite towards cyclists, everyone says so! Perhaps it's the tourists that don't know how to drive according to local rules?

Failure to give adequate room (1.5m) while overtaking a cyclist is cause for a €1500 fine here in Spain. Google "road hog theory" for more info about local road rules concerning cyclists...

  • north korea

  • beautiful video -- just the thing for to watch while on the trainer

  • @quintessentquirk I agree in 100%. There is a big traffic in some places of the island, but I have never had any danger situation ...

  • This clip invited me for 3 weeks of great biking vacations on Tenerife with my Trek Madone. Much more difficult ride than in Alps, but I will be back here.

  • As everyone else has stated great vid. I'm heading off to the Greek islands in May, and in no small part to video's like this. Gone through all the comments and still can't find out what the track is to the video. SO WHAT IS THE MUSIC TRACK!!, cheers

  • I am coming with my new Bianchi T-cube chorus last week of this march :)))))))))))))))))

    Thanks for the video

  • That footage makes me feel good. The winter riding in Vancouver is OK for commuting, but you can't train on the road. Too cold and wet most days.

  • Nice video, nice place to ride, wish I had a place like that i could go with my bike. One question is, who did the movie, there's some nice angles there.
