psychocalikitty, sorry for being so abrupt. The great ape bushmeat trade just enrages me and no one knows anything about it. I think it is great that these rescue operations do this, I wish I could help more.

If you watch the videos from these people they are trying to help the gorillas in the Congo. They are doing their best to save these animals when the odds are piled against them. One of the rangers went over the bushmeat trade in one of these videos.

Why are you not saying why these are orphans? Because African's are hunting their families for the commercial meat market and selling the orphans.
