I knew her for years. This means I didn´t only write letters to her, but visited her regularly.

It really hurts to read some of the comments.

She was a lovely lady and always had a kind heart. She didn´t deserve this comments (from 12 years old kids, I guess).

It´s been said already that her heart stoped beating while she was asleep and didn´t drown. I hope that you are happy with getting a few comments.

Think about yourself loosing a dear one and others writing stupid things about it!

Soton1912 if you think little kids making nasty comments about the last survivor dieing is bad there is this guy who is passing off photos of the Titanic and claiming them to be rooms and pictures from Auschwitz now that takes offensive to a whole new level if you agree I don’t blame you and he kept telling me how I was lire and how he knew they were from that horrible camp and I even described to him from one of the pictures of a second class room ware it was positioned in the ship and all that

I think her story is amazing... I can't imagine how terrified she must have been as a child to never see your father again, to never have a last goodbye or to have a body to bury.

P.S. It's disgusting how some people have no respect. Have a little bit of humility before you slander the death an innocent elderly woman. You all make me sick.

Hmmm really die in a bathtub by drowning or just pass while being cared for? I had a hip replacement which took awhile to get right and I was in the rehab section of a nursing home and it was sad because I would get to know and be friends with someone and then they would die and be gone. It's really unkind to mislead people with sophomoric titles. The truth would have been better. I also wonder if "loosing" is in such heavy use it is going to eventually replace "losing".

God's book said she was going to die by drowning and that is how she went. AT LEAST THE WATER WAS WARM!!! I once knew of a guy who was guilt ridden for being the only family member to survive its car crash after a drunk ran into them. How did he wind up dying? Drunk ran into him!!! Whattya Going to do?!!!

I pray that she was well taken care in the nursing home. Not like in the USA. It's a shame that she wasn't able to have her private nursing care. I used to sit with people and made sure they were taken cared of. If Jesus don't return, I also will probably be in one. She seemed like a beautiful person inside and out.
