I just sponsored a boy from paraguay a few days ago and I am so excited to learn about his family and community. I hope to visit his community after college or maybe one summer if I can save up some money. I've wanted to do this for a long time because of my aunt who has literally sponsored dozens of children. She really enjoyed it and her enthusiasm rubbed off on me!

thank you hamishandy. I really enjoy sponsorship thru world vision. what organization are you sponsoring thru? I will be traveling with World vision to the Dominican Republic to see the work they are doing there. It will be exciting.
