Ethiopianizm - The Dorze People of Southern Ethiopia Part I

Enjoy the guided tour we received in the Chencha area of Southern Ethiopia where the Dorze people live. The Dorze are a fascinating group known for their highly sophisticated designs in the production of traditional Ethiopian garments. They are also famous for their production and consumption of Kocho, a highly nutritious bread like food prepared from the roots of the false banana plant (known locally as Ensete). It is known worldwide that Ethiopia is one of the few areas in the world where plant and animal domestication took place. Coffee is obviously the most famous Ethiopian domesticate to travel across the globe. Insete is one of those which stayed confined to Southern Ethiopia.

I like Dorzes, though I am an Oromo. There are some greedy people in Addis Ababa (Shiro Meda) who exploite the children of Dorze people underground for weaving! That must be stopped!!!

Beautiful video, he is so handsome and articulate, fascinating, amazing that the house is 92 yrs old. Bamboo is so strong. This is real culture love it. must visit Ethiopia one day soon....

@PZCherokee People always look better if they meet our expectations. It will be interesting to see the truth of someone saying that they loved men's hair like so, with the beginings of the lawkz showing there tips. It is true that I knew many women who though I was handsome, but oddly enough didnt think my look was "groomed" . I was hurt to hear this when a women from Ethiopia actually told me this! She was Gambela. and she is, safe to say, thoroughly Brainwashed into the matrix.
