Quick question, do you always burn so many lamps or did you do it just for the videos? Just curious, not meaning to sounds snarky or anything

This is absolutely awesome! I love your ideas and might have to try to duplicate some! What kind of oil do you use in your lanterns? My husband has a problem with the smell of the lamp oil and gives him headaches...but that would really save us even more here on the farm! Next ice box I see at a sale will be mine too! :)

@farmergirl1122 A friend of mine once told me "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery!" She had a real nack for decorating I would duplicate some of it! I've never forgot that saying and am always flattered when someone wants to duplicate something we do! We use dye free kerosene. Just learn your lamps to avoid the smell. One time your wick may want to burn high the next it may want to burn low. If it's any kind of draft you will get a smell. It just depends but it is a wonderful light!

I would imagine you live a very fulfilling life. People are weak and coddled in this day and age and would never be able to cope in a pioneer situation. They don't have the patience or the skills or the inclination to do anything but push a button on a gadget. Very much enjoy your vids. Your kitchen is one big warm glow.
