@MRauTObt I had to agree with the oscars that year, Golden Compass' effects were amazing, Transformers were also but not as effectively used as the Golden Compass

THis movie sucked dick, but don't let that deter you from reading the books, british versions if possible. Literally the best series I've read in my whole life.

One of the best series of books I've read. This movie failed me entirely, as it did everyone else, hence why they aren't making the other two. PLEASE don't let it prevent you from reading the books if you haven't!

@Shzaydancingtiger The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree, makes perfect sense-Atheist poster. You call Greek mythology not real? At least its more exciting and epic. Trojan horse? etc.
