When fishing for Smallmouth and Largemouth you will find me on the river with a 9 ft - 8wt rod. The 9ft helps keep line off the water from a seated position. My favorite setup right now is the TFO BVK and I am oversizing it with a 9wt Scientific Anglers bonefish line.The flies vary but I like to tie most of my fly's on a 1/0 to 2/0 hook.
