Florence & The Machine's mix of their song "I'm Not Calling You A Liar" (Varric's Theme), which plays over the closing credits of Dragon Age 2. If you own the game you can see the credits at any time from the main menu, but I like the song and I can't seem to find it out for purchase yet. :) Enjoy!

  • I love this game! I almost cried when I beat it though and was automatically typing "Dragon Age 3" into the search bar. Epic fail by the way, there was nothing. This song is super beautiful too, dying to get my hands on it but can only find the original which I don't like as much :(

  • @TraceofBlame I've actually heard that they plan to release more music from the game over the next two months -- I think the Florence addition was kind of last minute, so it wasn't included on the first soundtrack release. I'm pretty sure it'll come out eventually. :)

  • Ah god this song fits Varric so well...though it didn't play for me either in the end, I am so glad I found it. I am in love with this band now. Even though I didn't get to make my own race this time around, I still feel close to Hawke. I love this game so much. It needs everyone to realize just how amazing it truely is.

  • @liara17 I'm glad you liked it! :) I really like Florence & the Machine - Lungs is a fantastic album!

  • You know what was really weird, you know that woman at the end of the game who cassandra(seeker) talked to as she left Varric, my character looked exactly like her so I was like "wait so I was with her the entire time?! Whats going?!" Then I later found out it was a coincdence :P

    Oh and amazing song

  • @DorisandDeardry I'm glad you like the song! :) It's a little spoiler, but the woman at the end (the redhead) was Leileana from the original Dragon Age. She also shows up in DA2 if you have "The Exiled Prince" DLC, as a character in one of Sebastian's missions. :)

  • This song reminded me of everything I did in the game.... It somehow made me feel like as if I was the one who lived through Hawke's life... :o

  • It truly felt as though I walked those seven years with Hawke. I made her a female mage and damn she had a hard life, and even when it got better shit still was worse! Bioware did a great job. I truly did feel for this digital Lesbian ginger mage(I always make that class i don't want to play with the female looks I don't like first but i couldn't stop playing this supposed fail of a character like i wanted. IT was a great game! Merril was who I the mage picked to fall in love with!)

  • @MidnaTheZoroark You could play it again. I did. ^^ I've played each class in DA2 and each Origin in DAO.

  • @liara17 I thought is was about anders and justice

  • @TheDwb8402 Wow, I just happened to see this comment! That game is so underrated, but as soon as I heard this song I thought the SAME exact thing. I was obsessed with that song back then and I still love it!

  • I can imagine this song playing in the background before Ander's has his big moment near the end

  • @SynisterRevalations I don't know, Origins was an amazing game, and anyone who thinks otherwise needs to be slapped, HARD, but I felt much closer to Hawke than the Warden. I think I found it easier to identify with Hawke BECAUSE it felt like I was just trying to get by in a world clearly intent on tearing itself apart. The fact that I wasnt trying to be a hero but just kept getting forced into situations is probably what did it for me.

  • Anyone got guitar tabs for this?

  • Got this song on my phone <3

I love Dragon Age II <3

  • @Meileani also in Legacy DLC.

  • Instantly liked this song when I heard it! Now I am officially obsessed with Florence + the Machine! Reminds me of "If You Still Believe" by Elsa Raven from the Legend of Dragoon soundtrack!
