http://www.dolphinstreet.com - here's a little lesson on E and A add9 chords, plus a B sus4. They sound nice as alternatives to the regular major chords.

  • HOw did you get THAT beautiful sound? It sound's like how Ronnie Wood used to play with the Faces- Espically "Love in Vain"! Listen to woody's tone and you'll see what I mean!

  • I think it would be more right to call the b chord an add4, since you're still playing the 3rd, which you aren't on a sus4 chord :)

  • I think it's physically impossible for me to hold down an A add9 chord :( my pinky can't quite reach the fourth fret
