@ShadowReij As a good of a VA he is, it doesnt fit Black*Stars personality. Thats why he voices Spirit. Sounds WAY better

i can honestly say that brittney karbowski grew into the role of black star cause at first he sound like a girl and now shes got him pegged. soul eater is awesome.

Black Star sounds like a girl because he is voiced by a girl (in Japanese, as well). And I think she did a FANTASTIC job. The Soul Eater dub is probably one of the better one's I've heard.
The voice fits the character perfectly. And it gets better after this clip :T

I don't see why everyone hates Black*Star's dubbed voice...it fits his character PERFECTLY...

His voice is fine. Black star is just a kid, and young guys get girl voices dubbed AND subbed. His voice suits him fine anyway, if it was more deeper, it would be out of place for his character.
