  • well i dont know about the other kids but i have no idea why you would think that about Emira, maybe because you have not seen her enough.

  • Tom, I'm having trouble getting the drive on the ball with SW forehand and end up brushing over the ball and getting very poor contact. What can I do to fix this?

  • sorry mate i missed this message. 1st - don't hold your grip too far around the handle. 2nd - dont try to imitate a windshield wiper or a rainbow. 3rd just focus on legthening your swing as you role over the ball, just make sure you get the ball spinning forwards everytime. you are probably just trying to do too much. let me know what you think.

  • The video does NOT show the percentage of balls landing IN.

  • @akirajunto Topspin because the chances of the ball being in are higher. Plus, it is difficult to hit a ball at your sweet spot when a ball is bouncing high and fast. With flat shots, especially fast ones, you can basically put your racket in front of you and use the power from the ball to generate it back. There are times when flat shots are preferred but most of the time you want to hit topspin. Its also about timing but I won't get into that:)

  • so, which one is better in a match? flat or topspin?

  • Solid strokes and good footwork, but if you're breeding a champion, at that age she should be much faster and more continuous with her feet, and should be whipping the ball much harder.

  • @beavertown2006 why?

  • she hits clean. you teach her?

  • well , i don't think a player would has much time for preparation like the girl in this video. Also, we all know that the most important thing in tennis is footwork, so this video shows... not enough to me. She can hit the ball as hard as she want, but the ball may not cross the net or stay inside the baseline as she wants to

  • @takkyu101 that is a pretty mean thing to say.

  • flat and topspin?
