Then don't use them. Vegetables for the most part are interchangeable. Use what you like.

hey watabunchaplonkas, between the coyotes, red tail hawks, raccoons, fox, feral cats and our meat eating neighbors those city rats don't have a chance around these parts. They're extinct! Thanks for your concern none the less! lol -BBQ Pit Boys

Cool!!
I noticed you used a 80/20 lean-fat ration for the beef. You then proceeded to discard a majority of the liberated fat..
I was wondering if that particular process could be eliminated by using a lower fat ratio?
I know a majority of the beef flavor is derived from the fat but then eventually using beef stew would replace that loss of flavor.
I just don't want to dig fat out!! Let me know!

hey sanwamble, our preference for ground beef is to use the meat from the chuck for a richer beef flavor. But in this meat pie substituting 90% lean would not be detrimental! -BBQ Pit Boys

knife: cutting tool
knife: spatula
knife: pot holder
never knew a knife was such an all purpose tool
(just be careful when you use it as a spoon....) ;)
