@wallachinski I know, it's sad, isn't it? Giants walked the Earth, and now, nothing. People have no idea. At least you and I have our memories.

When we were kids back about 72 my bro. Greg, And best friends Tom and Barry and myself would get home from school, and after supper we would go a block away to the bank of the Hillsbro river in Tampa and for 2 or three hrs. listen to the Outlaws pratice, every night. At that time they used to have a red white and blue school bus with an A.C. on the top they used as a band bus. I could go on about Seeing and listening to them for hours but I won't. Alot of found memories.

A quick, funny and nice story. I was 18 helping my Dad wax his big Caddy in the driveway, my doors and trunk to my car open and Stick Around for R/R was cranked on my car stereo. When the song ended my Dad commented, "Boy, that song can really make you scrub on a car!!!". I didn't know my Mom was sitting on the porch, she replied with, "I think that was GREAT!!". Man, when your parents are diggin Outlaws riffs you KNOW they're great!...hope you enjoyed...and thanks Outlaws.....

saw them many times here in philly, unbelievable band. there was just something about Billy.....

I'm so thankful for the ability to see these guys play together any time I want. They, in my opinion where the best pair playing together ever..... Rosington / Collins a very close 2nd. But Hughie and Billy Every song they gave it all.

hey get the boyzz to play up here soon.......

Saw this band more than any other live act , back in my concert days of the 70s and early 80s, and they were one of the best. The music, the lyrics, and the act, were top class. Back before MADD came on the scene and pressured the laws to eliminate any road partying, these guys were usually plugged into my car stereo, and CRANKED UP !!! God rest your souls, Hughie T., Billy J., and Frank O'.
Hughie Thomasson and Billy Jones were in my humble opinion two of the greatest guitarists of all time. Their beautiful and powerful guitar harmonies always move me so much, and lately when I listen to them, move me sometimes to tears, now that they`re both gone forever. I am lucky to have seen them live several times. God rest your souls,Hughie and Billy.

These guys were the sack. When rock and roll was just that, not the pussy whipped lip sinking techno crap that passes for entertainment today. A lost era of excellence.
