I'm not sure where you get your info, but Bob has told me that the Sager 5791 is the best games on medium laptop out there.
-
centrino 2 came out this laptop has a 3.02ghz processor (over clockable) and 9800gt for about 2,400 which destroys laptops at double the price.
-
i know, but i just found out that 280gtx (XFX) are cheaper than 9800gx2 in my country, im going with at least one 280! not a single laptop can match the power of 2 of these (not to talk about 3) :)
-
true but the these sagers are very upgradable
-
i think i will go for 9800 gx2 sli, since the 280 gtx came out and it is much cheaper, so u can buy a killer desktop for a price of a medium ranged gaming pc + you can upgrade desktop in sooooo many more ways

I dunno, man. This games on medium laptop is probably too extreme for me.
I've considered buying the Sager 5791, and while its games on medium performance is definitely a draw card, the $2300 pricetag is a bit steep for me.

Dude, consider the fact that my 7950GTX is half the 8800M GTX, and the 88M GTX would smoke any game....at high details of course :D
And it`s futureproof,so you might consider that.Get the regular CPU and the 88M GTX, best combination for games, since the GPU is pretty much the bottleneck, not the CPU...
You`d make it under 2300.

I actually play on my HDTV also, only it`s somewhat bigger, over 30inches :D

Yep, that`s exactly what I`m saying. If my last gen gpu can do this, the 8800M GTX will rule!

At 800x600 I had over 22 fps AT ALL TIMES. Not bad for a laptop, huh ?:D
