GAS Motorsport restored RX-7 SP. Mazda Australia purpose built limited run (38 public sales) road going race car. This is the version that kicked the Porsche 911RSCS in the 1995 12-hr enduro down under
The front & rear spoiler, bonnet vents etc where a copy of the Mazda "M2-division" special RX-7 called a "M2-1020" from 1992. It never made production but the design was copied by Mazda Australia & used on the RX-7SP in 1995. (thankfully without the JDM centre strut on the rear spoiler).
Its history now all Rotor fans are thankful for any rotary powered racer that can take on the best from Porsche & win.
