I had no idea Herzog made a documentary about this guy. I remember seeing him on tv when flipping channels.

We used to watch Dr. Scott for kicks...he made us laugh for hours, and people actually followed him! He loved his chalkboard and multi colored felt pens to make sense of the world..too funny!

For all those curious, I have no vested belief or share a pseudo-religious connection with Gene Scott. People who regard this garbage spewed evangelical hyperbole as something to be revered needs to reexamine their central belief systems. The fact he is the subject of a Werner Herzog documentary and exhibits moments of "ecstatic madness" are the only reason I posted this clip. The intent of the documentary is all I am interested in.
