Chris Clark - I Just Can't Forget Him

Chris Clark no words can do justice to this woman, she is one of Motown's hidden treasures. I met her before the show at Brighton and she was so nice. Then I met her again at Northhampton where her performance was stunning. She is so very underated.

Though Motown tried to make Chris a soul singer with blue eyes her point was on songs like this Bacharah sound and some other gems she recorded for her voice was suited for this style better that the hard core r&b.

great slide show-excellent photos! this woman definitely had the pipes, the looks and the class to make her mark at Motown. the fact that we're listening to her music and always looking for more speaks volumes about her talent.  thanks for posting this amazing performance!

I appreciate the fact that we differ in our opinions. :-) Run at 2:18? I listened and i just heard her just say no with a bit more force. i wouldn't exactly call that a run. Two artists that DEFINE sould are Aretha Franklin and Solomon Burke. This is pop/easy listening .. lol but I respect your opinion.

Blue eyed sould is NOT her. She hasn't a soul bone in her body. This particular song sounds like a burt bacharach/Dionne Warwick song ... San Jose. Soul doesn't sound like this. Blue eyes soul would be Michael McDonald, Bobby Caldwell, Jon B, The Righteous Brothers and the like.
