Jay Z sits Down With WARREN BUFFET P3

The first Forbes 400 Summit was surreal, amazing and, in the end, moving. We gassed up a Gulfstream 450 one warm September morning and flew one of the most successful recording artists of all time, Jay-Z, to meet the most successful investor of all time, Warren Buffett, on the latter's home turf of Omaha, Neb. The intent was to capture their very different perspectives on success and wealth and to talk about the social obligations that come with each. They ended up finding out they had more in common than anyone would have expected between a 40-year-old rapper from the Brooklyn projects and the 80-year-old sage of compounded returns.

@readynow12345: I didn't illustrate any mathematics here, I didn't come up with any numbers. According to Forbes magazine, the rapper Jay Z was worth $450 million dollars back in 2010. When I made the comment like the one above, it was in 2011. I was going by 2010 of jay z net worth. But in my personal opinion, I think Jay Z is worth like about $800 million dollars. He may have assets in offshore account under someone else name that may make him worth more $800 million

@983215ljhlkadbspig6y - that's the reason a lot of people don't grow wealth -because they judge, marginalize and demonize certain values - some as 'good' and some as 'bad'. Money, is NOT evil -Money is simply neutral and is only judged as 'good' or 'bad' based on how a person judges the effects of what another has done with it. The faster you come to embrace this, the faster you allow YOURSELF to grow wealth without the associated guilt or shame that others seem to have.
