  • This is simply magical. Undoubtedly the finest baritone of the century, if not ever. Bravo Dima, bravo!

  • I can guarantee that he is even more magnificent in real life. I saw the Netcast of Eugene Oneigin, and then saw him live twice in the same opera. The voice, the presence, the scene where he is undressed on stage--all very entrancing. And that Russian passion!! One of several fabulous baritones singing right now. Don't miss him.

  • I have no words - Dmitri Hvorostovsky is the best baritone of this era, no for ever.

His voice is incredible, his technique is phenomenal, his influence can't be explained by words.

I live a life as a singer and speaker and teacher. But his voice is far away from everything I've ever heard and experienced.

  • Magnificent aria; gloriously sung!

  • this may be a slow question but what is the name of this song ?aja

  • Borodin immortal, Hvorostovsky is genius!

  • C'est vraiment superbe!!!!

  • Je l'adore dans le répertoire russe .

  • no, Franco Corelli>All

  • Matt Barlow > All.

  • Borodin's "Prince Igor". There's another, longer video with Dmitri Hvor. singing this piece and more, 8 min. of his majestic interpretation and wonderful voice.

  • Hvorostovsky is baritone singer, not tenor.
