I am so sorry for the loss of your beautiful loved one, Jackie. Eating disorders are supposed to be so tough to overcome and it may take a few times until the person really decides to get well. Bless you for having gotten the chance to have her in your life as she seems so special. For anyone needing resources about eating disorders: Something Fishy. May Jackie rest in peace and her family and friends find solace here on earth...

I think about Jackie all the time. I miss her artwork (particularly her self portraits), writings, seeing her in treatment. She was a beautiful soul. Whenever I get that feeling of invincibility I think about her and am painfully reminded of how short life really can be and that as long as ED is part of my life I am not only NOT invincible I'm actually completely vulnerable to all of "his" consequences. Thank you Jackie for being a part of my life even if it was only for a few months. <3

I'm so so sorry about you're friend.
I had a friend who died of Bulimia. It's motivated me into trying a bit harder to get better.
xxxxx
this made me cry so bad... but to be honest, I only need to listen to an angels and airwaves song and the tears are coming... but this is truly so touching. I cannot find the right words... may she rest in peace.
