Hymn: Be Still, My Soul - Tune: Finlandia - Jean Sibelius - Synth Organ Keyboard

Here is one of my personal all-time favourite church hymns - Be Still, My Soul - which I am playing by request for a YouTube Friend. The Tune is the famous Finlandia which was written & published by Jean Sibelius during 1899 & then further revised during 1900. The words were originally written in German by Katharina von Schlegel in 1752 and then translated into English by Jane Borthwick in 1855.

The hymn is played in this recording by transgender musician - Denise Erica Hewitt - on her Technics PR903 Digital Synthesizer Keyboard in both Church Organ & Itopia Synth Modes.

The Photo in the Opening Titles and Closing Credits was taken by Denise on her alpine ascent of the Grande Ruine Mountain Peak in the French Dauphine National Park (Parc Des Ecrins) .

Nice but too loud.. you should change the registration.. Its too full from start to finish.

I personally prefer a "full" registration for Finlandia, although I've travelled to Finland several times from Helsinki to Rovianemi and the countryside is quiet and peaceful, so maybe I'll experiment with a softer registration for future performances:) Warm WIshes & Hugs from England to India! - DeniseX

Fantastic...I enjoyed that...in my opinion if there was ever a remake of a clockwork orange I think your version would go down a storm if used in the film
