For trouble with "Play as the Joker" Challenge downloads/installation, visit GameAxis, and search for Batman Arkham Asylum: Need Help! posted by changci.
I've had as much trouble as you all have, so after finding out how to install it and play as Joker, I posted this online for reference.
Btw, my strategy was the same as yours haha. Well at least up to the point when you kick the first guy's nuts.

@oldskoolrocker1000 You have to download it. Plain or GOTY. Probably more easy to handle if both versions have the same stuff and the extra different being dlc only.

@ProudSpartan911 Its a Playstation 3 exclusive thing. I think you download it...either that or the PS3 version just comes with it. one of the reasons im going to trade my 360 copy in for it....also I need a good excuse to replay the whole thing LOL.

You have to unlock it in the normal campaign by finding Riddler trophies
