I've been stationed in every province in Canada (except NWT) and I'd have to say Saskatoon is the nicest city in Canada. Sorry to my hometown of Hamilton!

Toronto has 5.5 million people. Vancouver has 2.1 million. Toronto also gets about 3 times as much immigrants so how is Vancouver going to be bigger than Toronto.

last i checked Vancover had a little over 500,000 people. I did just notice that Montreal was forgotten. It's a great city, i went there in June.

@MilesPrower88: That's just the inner city count. The metropolitan area is around 2.3 million now. I generally go by this number b/c we tend to split our cities up a little too much in my opinion. Case and point, both West and North Vancouver are considered separate from Vancouver and despite the fact that Burnaby is continuous with Vancouver it too is considered a separate municipality. Hence, the low population counts in some international class Canadian cities.

@Nickstahl007 Yeah, I believe Vancouver came 1st and Toronto came 5th. Unfortunately, no other Canadian cities made it onto the top 10 most livable cities.
