  • I brought this from new egg 2 weeks ago and I love it. Keep up the good work.

  • @ASR1O Thanks very much!!!

  • Hey, I have some questions about this product.

Does it connect to my router through ethernet or WLAN?

Can this allow me to use a USB printer from different computers? How?

How does the iTunes support work? If I put my music on an external hard drive and plug it in to the iConnect, does that mean all my computers can access the same music through iTunes?

  • @ArmenianSOADfreak Here's a link to a solution sheet on the iTunes functionality: download.iomega.com/com/nas/pdfs/nasitunesquickguide.pdf

For print serving, you can connect up to two printers to the Iomega iConnect. Then you can print from any device on your network - PC, Mac, or Linux.

  • Hello. I liked to know if is it possible to have acess only in my network not to the internet, is it possible to restrict the acess?

  • @samelight This product is very different from a router... the Iomega iConnect has built-in software that offers a ton of features like iTunes server, UPnP AV media server, print serving, torrent download, Picture Transfer Protocol, Retrospect Express backup software, Time Machine support, and much more! It allows you to bring all of your desktop and portable USB storage into your home network... for well under $100. download.iomega.com/com/resources/iconnect_datasheet_1209.pdf
